Mission

Sudbury Citizens for Responsible Land Stewardship (SCRLS), in collaboration with interested citizens, government agencies and conservation groups, promotes thoughtful land use planning and preservation that is compatible with environmental concerns and community interests. The SCRLS aims to protect Sudbury's natural resources in a responsible manner that is suitable for recreation and wildlife habitat by:

 

·          Advocating a balanced and responsible land ethic that reflects our fiduciary and environmental responsibility

 

·          Strengthening education and communication efforts to improve understanding of Sudbury's natural resources

 

·          Supporting recreation opportunities consistent with the community and private landowner rights and objectives
