The following are excerpts from the Lexington police log from Aug. 8-14. The log is available to the public.

 

Arrests

 

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 5:23 p.m. Eugene Isaak, 55, of 3 Woodcliff St., Springfield, was arrested and

charged with two outstanding warrants from Springfield for traffic violations after a traffic stop on Revere

Street.

 

On Thursday, Aug. 11, at 3:30 p.m. Daniel Brolly, 57, of 4 Rear Chapel St., Norwood, was arrested

and charged with illegal possession of a Class D substance and operating with a revoked license after a

traffic stop on Turning Mill Road.

 

On Thursday, Aug. 11, at 10:50 p.m. Zhongguo Wang, 42, of 19 East

St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating under the

influence and leaving the scene of property damage. Wang's vehicle was towed after the vehicle hit

another car which then hit a home on Marrett Road.

 

Larceny

 

On Monday, Aug. 8, at 6:51 p.m. a Hill Street resident reported a vehicle was broken into while it was

parked on the street. A window was smashed and a wallet and computer were stolen.

 

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 2:18 p.m. cash and a credit card were stolen from a desk at a Maguire Road

business. The card was later used in Revere.

 

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 7:56 p.m. a Massachusetts Avenue resident reported a cellular phone

account was opened in her name. Traced back to an address in the Bronx, N.Y., the resident said she

was unaware until receiving collection notices from an agency and checking her credit report.

 

Other Incidents

 

On Monday, Aug. 8, at 6:38 p.m. an accident between a cyclist and a vehicle was reported at Revere

Street and the bike path. One was transported to Lahey Clinic and the incident is still under investigation.

 

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 9:40 p.m. a two-car accident was reported on Massachusetts Avenue. One

vehicle was towed and no cited or injuries were reported.

 

On Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 6:05 p.m. a two-car accident was reported a Woburn and Lowell streets.

 

One vehicle was towed and one operator was cited. No injuries were reported.
